The Centre for Migration Studies
has a database :

"The Irish Emigration Database is a computerised collection of primary source documents on Irish Emigration to North America (USA & Canada) in the 18th & 19th centuries.
It contains a variety of original material including emigrant letters, newspaper articles, shipping advertisements, passenger lists, official government reports, family papers and extracts from books and periodicals."

Evidently the database can be accessed from Libraries in Ireland and more information is at :
http://geocities.com/cms_ied/http://geocities.com/cms_ied/

Would anyone have an index for the surname ADAIR
from this IED Project ?Thankyou.
