From the IGI. John Adair Hawkins, bapt 19 Mch 1757 at Knighton West, St Peter, Dorchester, Dorset, son of John Hawkins and Grace, presumably John Hawkins and Grace Perrin who were married at St Peter, Dorchester, 29 Oct 1755.
From Burke's Landed Gentry 1847 (particularly helpful because it has an index) under Williams of Herringston, Dorset.Jane Williams (no dates given) dau of Thomas Williams of Herringston (1728-57) married Adair Hawkins Esq of London (no further details given).
From the marriage settlement of Rev Robert Hardy and Sophia Adair Howard (Robin Adair's reputed daughter) dated 14 Sept 1792. John Adair Hawkins of Great Marlborough Street, Saint James, Westminster, Esquire, a trustee. Still a trustee in 1815.

1793, II, 675. Sir Caesar Hawkins aged 13 (death). Refers to obituary of his grandfather Caesar Hawkins surgeon in Pall Mall (created a baronet) d. 1786 (vol LXI, p.142).
