My grandmother passed away on Oct. 18th, 2004.She was born May 28th 1908, the daughter of Cloyce and Myrtle (Heckerd) Krouse.She married Max Joseph Adair in 1925 who preceded her in death in 1946.She went on to be with Charles Pitchford who preceded her in death in 1992. Mildred is survived by her sons, Clayton (Freida) of Belding, MI, Alvin (Bonnie) of Greenville, MI, Robert (Genevive) of Ionia, MI, Gerald (Ann) of Florida, Ken (Esther) of Ionia, MI, Daughters Bonnie Blackmer (my mom) of Ionia, MI, Mary (Robert) Lindsley of Florida; daughter-in-law Gayann of Ionia, MI; sister-in-law Rose Krouse of Traverse City, MI, Veda Krouse of Florida; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Raymond Adair; daughter Shirley Ann; son-in-law Richard Blackmer, brothers Keneth, Hersel, Rolland and Dale; sister-in-laws Greta Ramor and Lucile Krouse. She is buried at North Eagle Cemetery in Eagle MI.

Sons: Raymond, Clayton, Alvin, Robert, Jerry, Kenny and daughter Bonnie (My mom).One daughter passed away at age 2. (Shirley)Four Sisters: Mrs. Orville Ring (Belding, MI), Mrs Ellis Scaden (Greenville, MI), Mrs. Sam Kirchner ( Crystal, MI), and Olive Vaughn (Saginaw, MI). Two Brothers: Oliver Adair (Saginaw, MI) and Earl Wilson (Detroit, MI)
Max is buried in River Ridge Cemetey in Belding MI Shirley is also buried here.
Also found: Delores Gardener born Dec. 13th, 1867- Died Jan. 8th, 1943. Parents- Andrew and Eliza Nisonger First married to James Scotford in 1883 4 children, 2 preceeding her in death. one was a daughter named Olive Vaughn. Oct. 1902 she was married to Joseph Adair of Cedar Lake, MI. They had 2 children: Max Joseph Adair and Axie or Axa Ring (Belding, MI) Joseph passed away in 1925 Delores then married Albert R. Gardener of Belding, MI.They lived in Winn, MI then moved to Edmore, MI.
I and my mom (Bonnie) went to Cedar Lake Cemetey on Memorial Day Weekend and located Annis Adair's grave.Next to her grave was a larger stone with the name ADAIR engraved on the top, but no other names were on the stone.Annis Adair's stone had the words MOTHER on the top and said wife of Joseph below her name.
