Robin, I hope that you are still checking this after all of these years. My grandfather was an Adair and it was well known at the time that he was dubbed as crazy. He has been gone for over 40 years and although I never had the chance to know him, his legacy lives on through my mom and me. Medicine is the only thing that keeps us sane and I have heard that it is a chemical imbalance that affects all of our family in one way or the other. I also have an aunt that has been diagnosed years ago with alziemers, but it is now thought that maybe this is the problem with her and was never treated to maybe prolong her chances of a normal life. Paul Adair was from Sevier County, Arkansas. His mom and dad had several boys. I believe that the dad ran off and was never heard from again. The mom married a Judge Reid, but that is the end of that info, also. Don't be discouraged.
