One small comment; there is an Alexander Adair said to be of Waterford. There is no reason at all why this should be wrong; he could have been a merchant there. However it is a bit out of their usual stamping ground, and there is a co. Antrim place Waterfoot, close to Cushendall. It's possible that the indexer of the records, reading 17th c. handwriting, not knowing about Waterfoot, may have read Waterford instead Thanks for posting all of this Linde
