Assignment of annual rent from manor and seignory of Fortescue, co. Antrim, from a moiety of the Teagh or territory of Clanarchy, co. Antrim; also from the town lands of Ballymena, Ballyloghane, Broghnemelt, Carninecke, Carnadownway, Laymore, Tinshane, Loghnegary, Antiquintas, Cobraghe, Doneveagh, Drwmine, Dungale, Monaghane, Bally, Craigevaren, and *Ballygarvy, Dunefean, Clogher, Killflugh, also from the half quarter or parcel of William Moore and John Magee: Robert Adair, Esq. to James Edmonstone (bro-in-law ?), William and Patrick Adair. ................ Captain Hugh Campbell who was with Captain Blainy Adair c.1760 possibly resided at Ballygarvy, Parish of Broughshane, the seat of the Campbell family (about a mile from Ballymena ?).The Houston family may also have been from this area.Thomas Campbell who emigrated to America c.1808 connected to the Bethany Church may have been of this family.
