Ireland. sons: 8, including: John, merchant and shipowner, James freeman in 1677 or 1678 (will dated 1705 mentions son Robert and cousin John WHITE). dau, Elizabeth Martin m.1stly William Anderson, merch of Belfast, who d. 1676), m.2ndly Rev. Patrick Adair, presbyterian minister of Belfast who d. 1694. nephew or cousin: James Martin, merchant of Dublin, a leading presbyterian, will proved 9 May 1727, related to the Smiths and WHITES of Belfast and Dublin. grandson: Captain Samuel Martin of Greencastle, Antigua, died 27 Dec. 1701 ............................ Adam White, bc. 1627 Scotland, d. 1708 Bushmills, co Antrim, N. Ireland, had children:

About 1722 the brothers, Hugh and Moses WHITE emigrated to Bucks Co, PA.
Records of the North and Southampton Dutch Reformed Church at Neshaminy Creek, Bucks Co, PA, show that on 4 Nov 1722, a group of "newcomers from Ireland" became members. Among those listed were the two WHITE brothers.
In 1725, Hugh and his wife Isabella were living in Donegal Twp, Chester Co, PA (later Dauphin Co.). In 1726, Hugh White moved to Mount Joy and settled on Little Chickaslunga Creek in the Susquehanna River Valley. On 20 Dec 1738 he received a land grant of 300 acres in Lancaster Co, PA. (same as Adairs ?)
Moses WHITE moved to New Castle, DE and became a school teacher.Did he move to NC with John Adear / Adair ?
