Another Adair in Burgh of Edinburgh about that time was 13 March 1685, Thomas Adair, deacon of the Tailors who was appointed to make the coats of the town's companies. .............................. In the book "Hawick and Its Old Memories" by James Wilson, p.195 it mentions Robin Adair, (jury ?) Panel also mentions the bailie, Hardy / Hardie / Heardye. Would anyone know date of this Robin Adair ?
