I will go to our Adelaide University in the new year and see if the kind girl behind the desk will let me access JSTOR for the above.
Also in JSTOR.ORG they appear to have an entry 25511851 - Will Abstracts in the Gen. Office, Dublin, Gilbert Adair, Tobergill, Parish of Donegore, co Antrim, 1738.
This has me curious as evidently in Burke's Peerage, Baronetage & Knightage, 107 ed. Vol. I, p.46 there is a Gilbert Adair d.1722 of Donegore, co Antrim, N. Ireland, had dau, Elizabeth Adair who m. James Agnew, (g-son of Lieut-Col. Alexander Agnew, 1st of Whitehills, Wigtownshire, Scotland.)Not sure if this Alex was b.1609, d. 1695 whose children were born in Ireland. He was son of Sir Patrick Agnew, 1st Bt, and Margaret Kennedy.
There was a Gilbert Adair who m. 12 Nov 1695 in Millrow Presbyterian Church, co Antrim, Ireland to Agness Donnell. Was he a son or g-son of Capt. James Adair of Loughanmore ?
