I am always excited when I get an lead on my genealogy research ... especially when it is on one of my dead end lines.
Are you a member of ancestry.com?If so my Adair, Lounsberry and other family trees are all posted there. I took a genealogy research trip to the thumb area in September to find some new information on my Adair, Lounsberry and Harder descendants ... and I came home with little new information to work with. The old photographs are what haunt me the most because they had been my grandmother Lula Adair Donovan's but unfortunately she never labeled any of them. When she passed away she was living with her mother & a sister and they kept the pictures. Unfortunately I didn't come into the pictures until long after my great grandmother and two great aunts had passed away ... meaning I had no one who knew who was in the pictures. I have been working on genealogy since the 1970's and it has always stressed me out that I couldn't connect my Adair line of descendants past my gg grandfather John H Adair. I had been assuming for years that the pictures that I have were from my Lounsberry line but none of my Lounsberry descendants had five daughter and a son. That got me thinking that the photo's could be Adair descendants. I then checked through census records and I concluded that your William is a possibility and so is a James that I found.
I tried to email you and it was sent back to me. I will go and dig out the photographs that I have and scan them tonight. If you would be interested in looking at them I will send them to you in an attachment if you send me your email address.
