Shirley; A late response but a small payment for all the help you provide,I recently reviewed this posting and, having JSTOR access and interest in possible application to Agnew and well as Adair, I have downloaded the DA Chart paper on The Account Book of Rev. Andrew ROWAN. A photocopy of the Account Book is available at PRONI. There are 2 paginations, one of 152 pages going forward and a second of 81 going backward.
This article is only an abstract of the contents and detail concentrates more on family items and social events and connections. It is evident that some entries will include valuable lists of names, e.g., "cuts" and assessments made for Donaghy church repairs [p. 83 first series]. Others are from assizes and quarter sessions as Andrew Ronan was also a magistrate.
But these DO NOT appear in the ARTICLe which per se provides interesting social and economic data for a high status family of the period [1672-1680] but only minor items of genealogical interest.
If you still have not obtained this article, I will be happy to send it as an e-mail attachment to any address you may supply.
