Arthur E. was born 2 May 1886, to Henry and Elizabeth (Maas) Adami, b. 1852, Germany & 1854, Neiderweisel, Germany, respectively. Henry came to MT at the age of 14. Children: Charles J., Bonne Terre, IN; Henry C., Wallace ID; Louise (Mrs. D.J. Ragan), East Helena; Elizabeth K. (Mrs. L.W. Williamson), Helena; Arthur E.; Bertha E. (Mrs. J.S. Higgins), Great Falls, MT.
Arthur was educated in Helena and graduated from high school in 1903. Received his Mining Engineer degree from the Montana State School of Mines, Butte, MT, in 1907.
On 9 Aug 1911, Arthur married Miss Alma Erickson, a native of Butte, daughter of Mrs. & Mrs. Alex Erickson, pioneers of Butte. Adami children: Jane, b. 1912; Arthur E., Jr., b. 1915
