prior to rev, 1769 and 1770 tax lists have ezekiel adams, sr. residing in craven cty, nc
in 1790 he appears to have resided in pitt cty, nc, adjacent to craven cy
=charles adams, died in craven cy nc in 1757
and had a large family, possibly including sons names william, willoughby, and abraham as well as ezekiel, sr.abraham is on record as moving to pitt cty, nc, abt 1774
these names appear on each other's deeds and so on as witnesses, etc. for years.charles,
d. 1757, has probate file containing inventory and executrix, mary adams, likely his wife.charles adams was named in many land transactions and we have hopes of learning more about him and his family.
