to Mary Chapin in 1682, they had two daus. 2nd to Hannah Bass in 1688, they had five sons & three daus. 3rd to Elizabeth Hobart
in 1708. Joseph father was Joseph b.1626 in
Kingweston,Somerset, Mass. m. 2 Nov.1650 to
Abigail Baxter, d. 6 Dec.1694. Joseph grandfather was Henry b.1583 m. Edith Squire.
on 19 Oct. 1609, d. 8 Oct. 1646. Joseph G.Grandfather was John b.1555 m. Agnes Stone
abt. 1576, d. 22 March 1604. Joseph G.G.Grandfather was Henry b.abt.1531.Joseph
G.G.G.Grandfather was John Adams of Barton
David, Somerset, Mass. He is mentioned in the
Muster Roll of 1539 among the billmen finding harness, was the brother of Robert
Adams of Butleigh, Somerset, Mass. There was a will dated 8 April, pr 2 Aug. 1557. Hope this will help........... Mary
