In response to my own message posted over one year ago, I have since learned my Mary Polly Adams is NOT associated with Absolom Adams, but a daughter of George Adams and Mary Magdaline Howard. This Adams family came from Holland and lived within the boundries of the town of Lexington on Mulberry St later to be called Limestone. I suspect Mary Polly's brother was John Frederick Adams who married Mary Downing. This Adams family operated a livery stable, blacksmith, were hatters and opened a tavern, all found on the above street and nearby area as early as 1797. Also, the William Pritchett/art mentioned is NOT associated with any of the names mentioned. This information is under study now.
