Desota Parish meets Webster Parish and is a breath away from Claiborne--both parishes full of my Adams & Hough ancestors.I have access to many, many cemetery records contained in the world acclaimed genealogy library here in Houston.I will be looking for your names in a couple of weeks. If I had birth years, I would know where to look. Are these folks long dead are still among the living? I have pages of Adams marriages just in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana and tombstone info for a nuimber of Adams in the Gilgal cemetery in Claiborne Parish.A Joseph W. Adams, born 1853 died 1945 is buried there. I have just started work on my Adams line, but hope to discover more in a couple of weeks.My great grandfather was Joe Adams, my gr. grandmother was Lou Almond.Their kids were Eva Pink, Barbary Jo=die, Lela, Archie Worth, and Stumpsey.The gr grandparents suposedly were born in Alabama or maybe Georgia.I saw census records listing birthplace, but can't locate them at the moment.
