The Lousiana death records are on line.I looked for both Sarah and Charles and neither is listed.I tried Sarah with both an A and E.Could they have died in another state and been taken to LA for burial?

The David V. Adams in Mespillion Hundred Twp., Kent Co., DE is most likely a relative.I don't think he would be our David V. Adams as his first child, Elizabeth, was born in 1830.I have our David Vance Adams married in 1829.

The David V. Adams you found in the 1850 Ross Co., OH is our David Vance Adams. The Peter that you mention is the Peter who moved t Jackson Co., MO and died in Independence, MO in 1894.

Great work on the 1860 Ross Co. census.I didn't have it, nor have access to it.You have been able to give us Thomas, son of Peter Adams.Olive Adams lived with Thomas in the 1880 Jackson Co., MO census.

Your first question about Peter Adams in Kent Co., DE.I think you mean Peter, son of David Vance Adams.If so, I don't know.I also don't know if he would have fought in the Civil War.I would think there would be rcords though that we could check into.

I don't have a married name for Elizabeth, but you have a good thought.There must be marriage records in OH that could prove or disprove if Elizabeth Adams and Elizabeth Hickle are the same person.

I had also found Isaac and Almer and have them as a possible match in the family.
