I am interested in the Adams you mention near Liberty in Smith Co TN.My Turneys lived near there and I am searching for the family of a Hannah Adams born about 1790 who married 1812 to a Turney in Smith Co TN.

Henry Turney lived on Clear Forks in Smith - later most of his land fell in Dekalb but some in Cannon.Henry got this land around 1803 or so.....1800 part of this area of Smith Co fell in Wilson Co....

1816 Henry Turney sold 84 acres of his land to Jacob Adams, witt: by Abraham Adams.
