Hi Jo My mother knew who you were before you replied, and she says Hi!Almon and Lovina are buried in Manchester Center. When the place burned, they moved off the mountain and bought a place in Manchester Depot.I took Aunt Dot there before she died, and she showed me where it stood. It is gone now.She said her grandparents enjoyed living in M after so many years in Peru. They had more activities and friends in town.Dot said that they always believed that they were somehow related to the Abe Lincolns, but they didn't know for sure.Robert Todd Lincoln lived near there, and the Adams boys caddied for him at the golf course. The Lincolns I believe descend from a Hingham MA family, and we have lots of other Hingham ancestors.Whatever connection there may be would have to be very remote.I have worked on Lovina's family, and there is still a lot of work to do there. Her last name was West.
There is a lot more to tell, but I'd rather do it in email. I know you can get free email somehow, or maybe you can reply to my email address.Written out, it is:carri at vtlink dot netIf you write me an email, include your snail mail address and I will write to you.No need to send cousin Keith's work, mother has it.And one of the names was Ida Baker! Nice to meet you, cousin, even by computer!
