I did not see the Adams Bible on ebay but would appreciate it if you could give me information re: same.I am looking for info on Charlie Caleb or Caleb Charles Adams m. to Rebecca Barr or Barg in Ga early 1800s. When she died, he left older dau (3) behind and brought 3 young sons (Caleb Benjamen - my late husband's gfather)to Texas. Settled in Bastrop County. Mar. Amanda Bellamy, had 5 more children (1 died at birth and 2 were Texana Adams moved to El Paso area, Samuel Houston Adams buried in Wichita Falls, Tx). C C Adams father might have been George?? Not sure, but ancestors from Mass. earlier I believe.
