Isabella Wilcockson, named in the will of her father George Wilcockson Jr of Pennsylvania and Rowan Co NC (he was apparently a ward of Squire Boone, according to family history). George died 1785 Rowan Co NC and is buried at Eaton Baptist Cemetery. The relationship is further confirmed by an 1786 sale of land from her brother David Willcockson of Fayette Co VA (now KY)of an adjoining parcel of land to that left her in their father's will.
On the 1787 census, Isable Adams is listed with one male (under 21) and three females in the household. There is no information to indicate who the third female is.
Isabel Adams married Samuel Casey on 28 Sept 1787 in Rowan Co NC with George Willcocks (likely her brother George Willcockson III) as bondsman. Bond #: 000123453
As previously mentioned by Paul Zebe at this forum, George Adams is known to be a son of Daniel Adams by the estate papers of his father Abraham. There is no per se record of Isabella's marriage to Daniel Adams. Based on the age of her parents (known from their gravestones), Isabella's DOB could not have been much before 1755 (her mother was born in 1739, and five of her eight siblings were still at school when her father died in 1785). George ADAMS and his sister Faner/Thenier Adams Welch can be (possibly) located on the 1810 census of Garrard Co KY and George appears by this data and the 1787 Rowan Co tax list to have been born about 1774. Since his grandparents Abraham and Tryphena Adams were known to be in Rowan Co at that time, the marriage should have taken place in North Carolina, but no record has been found thus far.
