Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that I've been researching perhaps as many as 20 or more of the same lines that you're researching. And I also wanted to thank you for your very useful information too. Much appreciated!
Off the top of my head, some lines that interest me are: Threatts also known as Threewitts.Threewitts and Sturdivants are allied families in Sussex VA.Wilburns also fall into the mix too.Gilliams also related (Sussex VA to Goochland, VA) Desharazer families included. This includes a Wilburn/Strudivant marriage too.
One example:Martha Taylor b c 1750 m 1. Charles Gilliam 2. John Wilburn 3. John Desharzer.
At any event, this Wilburn line had roots on the Eastern Shore in VA as early as 1623 and therefore descendants married into many of the lines that you've researched. Which of couse is why so many of the lines that you've researched are also of interest to me too.
