Thank you for your follow-up.I believe McNamara to be the son (or grandson) of William Adams and Sarah McNamara.William was born in 1694 in Maryland.I believe that Levi was the son of McNamara Adams.I have a note that says that Levi married Nancy Chestnut in Knox County, KY in 1807.
