James Acy Adams 1821 NC, wife Susan Unknown 1822

I am looking for anything on James Acey Adams born 1821 NC and his wife Susan, born 1822, Tenn.I have census records thought 1860.My ggrand father was their youngest son, Robert Bell Adams, born 1860.I know the wereabouts of most of their children & have the Tennessee census 1870 for Susan & the kids.
