My wife is from the Drye family.The ancestors of that family came from Germany to PA.

Drye is the Americanize version of the name.It was at times Doerr/Derr/Durr/Derr and probably some other versions.
There are several Anna Margaretha from the late 1600's and early 1700's in that line. They appear to be named after Anna Margaretha (b. before 1671)who married Weigant Deer.
