I am looking for information on a Billy Charles Adams. I am not related to this line, but he was aboard the S.S. Lady Hawkins when it was sunk on January 19, 1942 by U-66. My great-grandfather was also on the vessel and perished in the attack.
I am writing a book about the Lady Hawkins, and I would like to learn what I could about the crew and passengers who were onboard; both those that were lost, and the survivors.
I am having a difficult time locating any info about those who were on board, so if anyone out there has any information about this passenger, any others, the crew, or the ship itself that they would be willing to share with me for the purpose of my book, I would greatly appreciate it. I will of course, credit the people in the book who submit any of their info to me.
