Services for Margie Adams, 82, will be at 2:00 PM Monday December 1, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Healdton, with Pastor Joel D. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home
Margie Adams, eighty-two, of Healdton, Oklahoma, passed from this life November 27, 2008, at Ardmore, Oklahoma. She was born February 28, 1926, in Graham, Oklahoma, to Levi and Sallie Belle Berry Todd. She grew up and attended school in Graham, and on March 17, 2944, she married Curtis Adams in Healdton, Oklahoma. They first made their home in Healdton, moved to the Velma, Oklahoma, area for a time, and finally moved back to Healdton to be close to Curtis' job in the oilfield. Margie was a loving homemaker, who loved to cook for her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies and spending hours at a time at her computer. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Healdton for more than forty-five years. She was dearly loved by her family and will be truly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her infant son Thomas Lee Adams.
Survivors include: three sons - Dan Adams of Ardmore, OK, Dennis Adams of Pea Ridge AR, and Don Adams of Wilson, OK; two sisters - Margaret Rodgers of Wills Point, TX, and Betty Jane Pierce of Del City, OK; one brother James Todd of Healdton, OK; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church of Healdton, with Pastor Joel D. Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home of Healdton. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Roberts Funeral Home on Sunday, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
