I also have Adams from Knoxville, same time frame.They also migrated to Nebraska.I only recently found another generation of this family.My James A. Adams b. abt 1835, probably in IL.His son Albert M. b.abt 1855 in Knox Co., IL.I don't know any siblings of James or his son Albert.I am waiting for census records from Knox Co.Do you have any other info on your Mary?I know there were other Adams in Knox Co., I have a death record for a Francis Adams that turned out not to be mine.
