The information I have is that Isaac Adams b.c.1696 CT (bpt.1708); d. 1757 Pomfret CT . He m.CT c.1727 Eleanor --- (c.1700/1710-bef.1784.).Widow Eleanor Adams m.2. 1758 Benjamin Fassett (1690-1764). Check the IGI for full dates.
Isaac and Eleanor had 16 children of whom Chester was #15.He is shown as enlisting in Orange Co. in "New York in the Revolution".His brother Daniel b.1752 also enlisted in Orange Co. The enlistment records for both are shown (very few NY records survived) .
His marriage to Elizabeth Sutherland in 1781 in New Winsor is in the Orange Co. NY records. His 1829 death in Middlesex Yates Co. death is recorded in "Known Military Dead".Believe they mentioned a cemetery.
Chester was a tailor according to his enlistment. I imagine there are more than a few DAR memberships based on his service.I'm sure they have much fuller information than I. You might check Frank Doherty's Beekman series. The family was in Beekman Dutchess Co. NY for a time and several daughters were married in Dutchess Co.Doherty has a lot on the family. He is a highly regarded genealogist.
That is the alpha and omega of what I know. Janet P.S. I emailed the above to you and the email was returned due to wrong address.
