I am still looking for the parents and siblings of John Adams.

He served as a corporal in Captain John Allison’s company of marines on board the sloop "Congress", commanded by Commander John Boucher and continued in this service until November 1776. He was allowed pension on his application executed July 16, 1832, at which time he was eighty-three years of age and still residing in Fairfax County, VA.
John died at his home in Fairfax County, VA March 14, 1849.

[ALEXANDRIA GAZZETTE - 4/3/1849; P.3] ANOTHER REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER GONE. - Died, at his residence in this county, on Friday morning the 14th ult., John Adams, aged one hundred years, one month, and fourteen days. Had he enemies, he has long since out-lived them all. None, even of the oldest inhabitants, but will readily acknowledge they are his debtors for acts of kindness and hospitality. He died with a firm faith in his God, a hope in immortality, and charity for all mankind: And his posterity, after one hundred years of trial and experience, may truly and safely chisel o'er his tomb, this couplet of Pope:
"This humble stone, what few vain marbles can, May truly say, here lies an honest man"
