I am not sure of the birthdate of Fred Adcock, I am getting the birth Cert. soon. He was the foreman of the Malthouses in East Dereham, and a bellringer - his name is in the tower for ringing. He lived in the High St.
By the sound of it, the Fred Adcock I am looking at was the father of your grandfather. I think my Fred had a son called Fred. My Fred is my GG grandfather. I will let you know more soon. Please email me off list.
