I do have some information on the Nicholas Jones' family as the Adcock's in Granville Co. married into that family prior to 1850.I will check for it, but give me a few weeks. I believe his will lists one of the sons as being in Kentucky.I have been told that Ansel Adcock's name was actually Absolem or Absolom, and if that is the case, he belongs to one of the Granville Co. Adcock's who moved to Muhlenberg County, KY prior to 1850. Absolom in Granville Co. was the son of Frederick Adcock (son of Edward-son of "old"John of Granville) and Fannie Ford who married 11/17/1813.Fannie was the daughter of Absolom Ford of Granville. Frederick died before 1850.Frederick and Fannie Adcock had David, Roanne Adcock Dixon, Absolom, William and Robert.William and Robert were minors in the settlement of their grandfather-Edward's estate when it was brought to court in the 1840's (40 years after Edward died). It is believed that David and Absolom moved to KY, and their younger brothers, William and Robert Adcock, may have also moved to KY.Their uncle, Abner Adcock, represented them in the estate of Edward, but Abner died prior to 1845 (some of Abner's children also moved to KY and/or TN). In fact, Abner's son, David, moved to KY.Abner was married to Rachael Gooch daughter of Rowland Gooch.Their son,David, likely moved to KY, and it is definite that their son, RolandAdcock, moved to KY.Roland had a brother near his age, Thomas, who may have moved also.Abner's children and Frederick's children would have been first cousins. Some of the Gooches moved to KY also, and they were first cousins to Abner's children.
