Alline Cobb Adcock, 88, formerly of Rowland, NC, died Sunday, March 24, 2002 at the home of her daughter in Albemarle, NC. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Kannaday's Funeral Home in Dillon. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Ashpole Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William Link and Dr. Roger Horne will officiate. Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery, directed by Kannaday's Funeral Home in Dillon, SC. Born May 22, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Robert Troy and Florence Anne Cobb. She lived most of her 88 years in Rowland, NC,w here she was a homemaker. She was a devoted member of Ashpole Presbyterian Church where she was the organist/pianist for nearly 75 remarkable years. Music was always an integral part of her life, which she lovingly shared with her family, friends, and her community. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Samuel Adcock and her son, Jimmy Cobb Adcock. Published in the Charlotte Observer on 3/27/2002.
