Again, I wisht to thank you for your many GREAT contributions to various genfourms.Your scholarly touch makes me think that you have earned a Ph.D.
At any event, I am writing about research that you have done on the Matthews line.
1. Richard B Wilburn m Nancy Matthews in Cambpell Co VA in 1819.
2. Robert Wilburn (1780-1848)d Nelson Co VA, & married to Eliz Woodson, notes in his will, an adopted son named William Boaz.
3. Abedengo BOAZ Sr. (1760-1825) m Frances Matthews. (1760-1810)
I am trying to tie these families together. If, indeed they do fit?My hunch is that they do.
At any event, I am seeking clues as to the parents of Frances Matthews b c 1760 of VA who married Abendego BOAZ.
------------------------- As you know, there were also Wilburn/Adcock marriages. Both Wilburns and Adcocks were in Granville>Orange Co NC same time frame. 1753 for Wilburns. But marriages between these families (Wilburns or Welborns and Adcocks) do not appear until later in Mecklenberg, KY c 1800.
My question to you is this: Can you identify the parents of Frances Matthews b 1760 VA?
