I was just at the Early Adcock History site looking for Nancy when I decided to check my e-mail. Thank you for writing back. The reason I am looking for Nancy is that I think she may be the mother of my great-great-great grandfather Henry Parker. I have been looking everywhere for her and haven't found anything. I thought it was odd that Cader married his third wife so soon after Nancy. My mother said it was common for women to die in childbirth back then.
I know that Cader was married 3 times, his first wife was Phebah Wright, 2nd Nancy Adcock, and the 3rd I think is Jincy Tippet.
I know that Henry was born in North Carolina but I don't know where. The earliest that I have found him is in the 1850 federal and state Census and by then he is around 40 years old married to a woman named Mahaby(Haly, Haley, Halsalar-varied spellings on different census)with several children living in Granville County,NC in Fishing Creek.
I'd love to learn more about Nancy/Cader if you have any more info. By the way, do you know if Nancy Adcock or Cader Parker were of Native American Decent?
