Hi Steve, Thank you for your reply to my Robert Addison 1607, Westmorland UK message. After a brief search I have come up with the following which looks interesting. Please forgive me if you already have this information. On the 1881 Census - 124 Highgate Kendal, Westmorland Fhl Film 1342256 PRO ref RG11 Piece 5212 Folio 72 Page 3
JOHN JACKSON ADDISON24 APPLEBY Westmorland Wine Merchant WIFE Elizabeth21 Kendal Westmorland NORMAN HAYTON ADDISON1m Kendal Westmorland Sarah Ann Addison19 Levens Westmorland visitor.
This was taken off the set of CD's of the 1881 British Census and National Index.
I searched the IGI on the Latter Day Saints sight "Family Search" and could not find any mention of the birth/christening of Norman Hayton Addison, but as you had this and I had found reference to him on the 1881 census persued my search.
I found a Christening for John Jackson ADDISON, on the IGI, 15 March 1857, Asby, Westmorland, Parents GEORGE ADDISON AND MARY ANN.Batch no C055311.
There is a marriage for GEORGE ADDISON AND MARY ANN JACKSON, on 26 November 1851, St Lawrence, Appleby, Westmorland. Batch no M055291.
There is also a christening for GEORGE ADDISON, 24 November 1822, St Lawrence, Appleby, Westmorland.Batch no C055291.
Robert Adddison married Mary Ellison.
I have given my sources where this information has been found for you to check and would like to hear from you when you again as my husbands and you family are both in the same area and we may be able to help each other further.
