Hi Shaun, Been pouring over Addys for the last few hours. Cant find a definite close link between our families but the following may be of interest. As you rightly say Fanny, Beatrice and Sydney Addy are in Boston in 1901. No other Addy's present. I assume that you have seen the 1901 image and that Fanny is Ellen's daughter. On the 1881 census we have Fanny Ellen Fawcett daughter of Ellen and Nathanial Fawcett living in Boston with Ellen's mother Jessie Elverston b Durham. From FreeBMD we have Fanny Ellen Fawcett marries FREDERICK WILLIAM Addy (Marriages Mar 1887 Boston 7a 437). Back to 1881 we have Frederick Wm. Addy b about 1862, unmarried living with Parents Edwd. Hy. (traveller) and Mary Ann Addy and sister Florence living with relatives (Newmans) in Nether Hallam, York. Cant find Frederick William on 1901 so possibly decesed. You could check FreeBMD for death. This does not quite match what you had so I will stop until you check it out. Dont hesitate to get back to me if you want more info, cant find the references, or just want to tell me I am wrong! If you would prefer you can email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Interestingly, or coincidentally, on the 1881 census I found a Thomas Addy b abt 1851 in Sheffield who married a Susan from Boston Linc! We are trying to trace family of Charles Addy, file cutter, b abt 1847 in Sheffield who married Sarah Ann and had children Charles, Edith Annie, and Alice Maud. I hope this proves useful. Pleased to be able to help. Best wishes Ray & Maggie Melbourne.
