I notice that you are looking for your ancestor, Thomas Aden, who lived in southern Missouri.I believe I can help you with the information I have.I have not worked on the Reuben Aden line for an exceedingly long time, but I dug out my computer printout and can provide an overview of what I believe to be your line.
Thomas A. Aden was born during May of 1879 in Missouri, presumably in Howell County. He was the son of Reuben Aden and his first wife, Sarah Mary Laffoon.I do not know anything about Thomas's wife, but I have the same list of children for him that you do.
Reuben Aden was born in 1853 in Howell County, Missouri, the son of John H. Aden and his second wife, Elizabeth Davis.Reuben married Elizabeth Davis on December 25,1842.He was previously married to Lucinda Northcut on July 11, 1841.Reuben is supposed to be buried in Union Hill Cemetery, west of Brandonville, Missouri.
John H. Aden was born around 1823 in what was then Wayne County, Missouri.(The whole southern portion of Missouri was this one county and various other counties are formed from it.)John H. Aden was the eldest son of Reuben Aden and Mary "Polly" Young.
Reuben Aden was born about 1795 in the Pendleton District of South Carolina, one of the two known sons of John and Anne Aden.He married Mary Young on July 16, 1818, in Warren County, Kentucky.Shortly after their marriage Reuben and Mary Aden moved to southern Missouri.
John Aden is believed to have been the older brother of Bennett Aden (which is my line) and it is at this point that all of us Aden researchers have "hit the wall" so to speak.
I hope this information will be of some help to you.
