Thusfar, I haven't located the Adens in the 1860 Illinois census.I can't see anyone at the moment who matches their identity under the spelling Aden or any of the most common spelling variations.
The immigant list of settlers from Ostfriesland on the Adams Co site states that Henry's parents Memmen and Wuebke Aden came to the United States in 1858.
I don't know if they were living elsewhere in 1860 or were simply missed by the census taker or they are under some weird spelling variation. The oldest son Ehme marries Reenste there in 1860 so they must be in the area somewhere.
It has been most interesting reading about the settlers from Ostfriesland.
