Ben, I know you may already have the information you were looking for, but just in case, I am sending you what I have.
Your GGG-grandfather, Frederick William "Bill" Aderholt, Jr. was married to Sarah Lucinda "Sally" BUTTRAM on Sept. 20, 1874, in St. Clair County, AL.He reversed his name from his father's so things wouldn't get confused with the two names. His and Sally's marriage license shows his name as "William F. Aderholt".
"Bills'" father was Frederick William, SR., b. 1800, in NC. F. W., SR. first married Esther Abernathy CARROL, on July 4, 1822, in Lincoln County, NC. (Together they had seven children.) His second wife was, Anna BAKER, b. ca. 1822, in NC, this would be your GGGG-grandmother. They married ca.1840, in Lincoln County, NC.
They had nine children: 1.) David Allen, b., 1841; 2.) Sarah Adline, b. 1843; 3.) Fannie Lucinda, b. 1844; 4.) Emanuel M., b. 1846; 5.) John, b. 1848; 6.) Daniel "Doc", b. 1851; 7.) Averiller (Avarilla?) Talloo, b. 1853; 8.) Frederick William "Bill", Jr., b. 1854; 9.) Alice Eliza, b. 1864 (There may have been other children between Frederick Wm, Jr. and Alice because there is a ten year gap there and that was unusual for that time period, or Alice's DOB may be incorrect.)
I hope this helps you in some way.Best of luck to you.Mary
