Comments: My G.G.Great Grandfather was JOHN DAILEY , who served in Co. M., 7th. W.V.
Cavalry. His daughter, MARTHA ADELEIDE DAILEY, married my G.Great Grandfather
ANDREW B. ADKINS. Andrew's father ANDREW JACKSON ADKINS served in the Confederacy in the 28th Va. Infantry and W.W.Parker's Va. Light Artillery. John 's son was named
JOHN McCELLEN DAILEY. I now own a Burnside Carbine marked with W.V. in the stock and
is to have been carried by the W.Va. Cavalry. I now carry it as a Cpl. with the 2nd. Florida Cavalry, 1800's Horse Soldiers. I carry it as a tribute to Grandfather John. I am an active WBTS Cavaley reenactor. Great site!!
