....."John Watson died in 1749-50. He left personal property and 300 acres "where THOMAS MERRITT lived to William Patman. He left 200 acres adj. DAVID ADKINS (sic) to Watson Patman......He did, however, leave 400 acres to ROBERT SHARP, to each of his daughter Susanna and Elizabeth Watson.......His executors were his wife Martha, William Patman and Nathaniel Bacon. Witnesses were Nathaniel Bacon, Thomas Thorp, and William Patman. Recorded 2 April 1750"
