It might have been me who sent you the Triplett/Clay information. I have information on Thomas Jefferson Triplett and his family. I grew up in West Hamlin, where Uncle Jeff and Aunt Sarah lived. (Not really my uncle and aunt.) His son Theodore, who married Mary Adkins, lived two houses from us when I was a small child and then half a block away. Their daughter Sue was one of my playmates. Jeff and Sarah's daughter, Maude Triplett Ray, was one of my teachers and her son, Ronnie, and I were close to the same age. Ronnie has died but the last I heard Maude was still alive.
If I sent the information, there should be a story about Uncle Jeff buying honey from my father and other stories about him. He was something of a colorful character or at least colorful in his speech. He is supposed to have had a finger shot off in a Kentucky feud before his family moved to Lincoln County, WV.
