Henry Bowlin is living amongst these Adkins and relatives/relatives by marriage. He was married to Susannah Adkins. MY PROBLEM is who does she belong to? (What male Adkins was she md to or which Adkins was she and the others children of? Henry's sister, Millie md John Adkins. I understand that Millie was one of many wives. ( I have even tossed the idea around that Henry and Susannah had taken in John's children possibly after Millie's divorce/death??? See below.

Pike County KY census 1850:
Henry Boling, age 24, farmer, born in NC.
Susannah Boling, age 32, (see online census) born in VA.
Lewis Boling, age 3, born in KY.
George W. Adkins, age 15, born in KY.
Minerva J., age 11, born in KY.
Rebecca V., age 9, born in KY.
The age and Adkins named children leads one to think Susannah was possibly previously married to an Adkins. I believe a previous marriage explains why Susannah could consent for herself. Please correct me if I am wrong. Of course these children could be siblings she brought with her...making Susannah's mother birthing Rebecca in her early 40's.
