Don't know if this is your line, but I find a Clarence E. Adkins, 31, in the 4th district of Wicomico Co, MD in 1910.He is a general laborer. His wife looks to be Rosie(?), 29, and they have two sons, William L, 6, and Carlton(?), 4.The writing is very bad.
Based on the above, Clarence wouldhave been born about 1879.In the 1880 census for Pittsburg, Wicomico Co, there is a 1 year old Clarance Adkins (note spelling). He is the son of John H. Adkins, 26, a blacksmith, and his wife, Maria E. Adkins.Living with them is 18 year old William Adkins, brother of John H.
In the Parsons, Wicomico Co census for 1930 there is a William L. Adkins, 30, his wife, Flossie, 31, and their children, William Jr, 9, and Alvin, 3.The elder William is a farmer.
A distant cousin of mine (William Henry Wyatt (1893-1958) married a Ruth Adkins about 1918 in Worcester Co, MD.My great aunt, Lillie Wyatt (1870-1948), also of Worcester, married Arthur Lee Holloway and a later descendant of theirs married Hal Adkins, present day Public Works director of Ocean City, MD.
