Good to hear from you. I have not done much genealogy lately due to work and other interests. However, I would certainly be interested in acquiring a copy of Barney's latest book.
As far as I know, my Cason line entered the colonies in Virgina, passed through the Carolinas to Georgia and stopped in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana by 1840. I have no information that says they ever settled in Mississippi.
My data has a William Cason, son of Edward Cason and Joanna [Butcher] Cason, who died in 1814 in Spotsylvania County, VA.
The only other Cason is William Franklin Cason who was born in Claiborne Parish in 1859 and died there in 1925. He is my ggreat uncle.
