Sue, my Hiram Adkins great great grandfather is from West Virginia also. born 1856 he married a lady named Malinda who was born in Ohio, they had a daughter named Nora Adkins and she married a Shelton. Nora was born 1873 she was my great grandmother. Hirama nd Malinda also had other children.
