Hi there. My husband is a nephew to Aunt Nela. While living in Boron on the Mojave desert we would stop and see Aunt Nela as we drove through on 99 while going to Oregon to visit Herman's family. On one such trip we stopped and took Aunt Nela with us to visit. She was so excited and enjoyed the trip out of the valley. We did not learn of her death for quite some time. When we did hear we also heard one of her son's, I believe Edward had also died. I would appreciate any information you have on her family. We left her in Grants Pass, Oregon, where she visited with her sister-in-law, Alta Campbell. We went further North visiting others and then picked her up on way back through. At that time Alta [My husbands mother] lived in a mobile home on Virginia & Tolberts property. Aunt Nela always had a project going. I enjoyed looking ar her quilts and other items she put together. I first met Herman and his family in Coolidge Arizona when I was about 5. I am now 71. My father was a minister and he held revivals in Coolidge at various times. Would love hearing from you. Marveen Coiner-Campbell.
