Mrs. Opal Bork Dead
Wife of Former Fulton Teacher Died at Pittsburg Yesterday
Mrs. Opal Mae Bork, wife of Lawrence C. Bork, a teacher in the Fulton schools for six years, passed away yesterday at Pittsburg, following a five weeks' illness of pneumonia.
Mrs. Bork was born May 19, 1902 at Pittsburg, Kan., and was, therefore, 30 years of age.She resided there up to seven years ago and lived one year at Prescott and six years at Fulton.
Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Jane Adney of Pittsburg, three brothers, Dewey Adney, Georgetown, Pa.; Otis Adney, Longview, Wash.; and Perry Adney, Kirkwood, Kan.
She was a member of the U. B. church at Pittsburg.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 20, from the United Presbyterian church, Pittsburg, conducted by Rev. B. W. Young of Fort Scott.Interment will be made in the Mount Olive cemetery at Pittsburg.
The body will lie in state at Bowman's Mortuary in Pittsburg until the time of the funeral.
