I wish I did know from which part of Yorkshire Charles was from . . . but unfortunately not.He was born in approximately 1636 . . . a family letter states as follows - "Charles Agar came from Yorkshire with Charles the First's Army to Ireland. His father had considerable property in Yorkshire and was a Cromwellian and in consequence of his son's joining the Royal Party (supported by his mother) was disinherited. He was quartered in Gowran and married the heiress of the House of Blanchville (Ellis), which was the original establishment of the family in Gowran."
